David Schmid is the chief investment officer of Propark. In this role, Schmid leads the real estate division, the rapidly-growing transportation division, the data analytics division, and Propark’s Cloudpark command center. He is also responsible for equipment and fleet lease financing, mergers and acquisitions, as well as capital raises. Schmid led the team that raised a joint venture partnership with two public companies to purchase real estate and has closed on over 300 million dollars of real estate transactions.
Prior to his current position, Schmid served as Propark’s chief operating officer as well as its chief financial officer.
Schmid has a passion for reading, studying history and exploring Mayan ruins in Central America. He serves on several boards, to include being treasurer of his boy’s local Boy Scout Troop, the vice-treasurer of his kids’ school and a board member of the Khusi Hona Orphan Project in India. He is married with three children and resides in Tolland, Connecticut.
