Propark America announced today that it has completed the installation of sixteen electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at its Red Beam Garage C location, servicing T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island.
“Propark is thrilled to provide T.F. Green Airport travelers with additional convenient EV charging capabilities, for free,” said Propark’s Chief Executive Officer, John Schmid. “As a parking company rooted in sustainability, we believe strongly in continuing to advance the charging infrastructure as more and more people are driving electric vehicles.”
The Red Beam Garage C, which is conveniently located next to T.F. Green Airport, now features twelve Tesla chargers, alongside four Juice Bar EV Charging Stations. Propark plans on providing EV charging to Red Beam Garage C customers free of charge.
“Propark’s model of ‘Charge Cars, Not People’ is an ideal fit with the low-cost nature of T.F. Green Airport,” explained James Skeffington Jr., president of New England Parking Company, which owns the garage. “This is the latest guest amenity put into place by Propark, which continues to add convenience and value for T.F. Green Airport guests in new, innovative ways.”
Managed with pride by Propark America, the Red Beam Garage C is a three-minute walk to the airport terminal, via a covered walkway. In addition to the charging station installations, recent improvements brought to the award-winning facility also include a state-of-the-art parking technology upgrade featuring onsite parking equipment, a new website and a free mobile app for guests of the garage. With newly installed exterior LED lighting, the Red Beam Garage C is a destination or meeting point for visitors and travelers alike.
