San Francisco, California – Propark Mobility announced today that Luis Garcia has been named as the new Senior Vice President of Operations for the company’s mobility sector, as it looks to further develop this segment of the business nationally.

“Over the years, Luis has been instrumental in developing our West Coast footprint,” explained Rick DiPietro, Propark’s President. “He has enabled Propark Mobility to grow and excel in a variety of verticals, with many accounts under his leadership having successful transportation components as part of the operations. Luis is the right person to chart our further advancement into the mobility space with his leadership and his skillset.”

Luis began his career with Propark over a decade ago as an account manager and grew organically with the company. He led the development of his region from a small portfolio of assets to sixty properties during his time as the company’s Senior Vice President of its West Region, his most recent position. Luis will now be responsible for delivering similar exceptional results in the mobility space.

“We are thrilled that Luis will be planning and executing the growth of this silo of our business,” said John Reimers, Chief Operating Officer of Propark Mobility. “Parking assets are now mobility hubs that guide how people move in smart cities, and within smaller ecosystems, like universities or healthcare campuses. As Luis transitions into his new role, we’re excited for him to establish and build our mobility sector through his operations experience and business development expertise.”

Luis successfully implemented a suite of mobility programs at Google’s Corporate Headquarters in Mountain View California, and will look to incorporate similar systems at universities, office complexes, healthcare environments, and any other vertical that benefits from comprehensive transportation demand management. In his role as Senior Vice President of the mobility sector, Luis will be responsible for evolving Propark’s business model as the company continues to shift its focus with the changing landscape of the parking industry into a mobility context.
