Harvey has been with us now for just over a year, and the reason I am nominating him again is not because of one particular thing he has done, but more because EVERYTHING right that he is done. Whether it is him doing his normal duties and excelling at them or going above and beyond and doing things that aren’t really our responsibility but doing them anyway because it needs to be done, like sweeping and cleaning the alley way of the constant debris. It isn’t our department, but it soon becomes a problem when the wind works it on our drive, but Harvey has eliminated that problem at the source. He leads our team in TripAdvisor reviews, he is never late, always attentive to guests needs before they even ask and has never called off, not once. Harvey works 5 nights a week and I know I have nothing to worry about when he is up there, giving me lots of peace of mind. Not to mention, this is his second full-time job. Even though he works a lot as it is, recently when we were very busy with WASHU move-in weekend, he stayed close to an hour and a half after the valet stand closed to bring in slews of late returners. He is truly one of the hardest working people I know and most caring as his guest satisfaction is through the roof, I constantly have guest coming up to me and telling me how great Harvey is and how much he helped them. Those reasons and many more I won’t have room to fit are the reasons I know he deserves to win Rockstar of the Month.
