Ruben has been an instrumental part of our team’s success this year, and October is the perfect time to recognize his dedication, resilience, and leadership. When the Sycamore District faced a critical transition in its monthly parking key card system, Ruben stepped up without hesitation. Serving as interim manager during Ivan Carrillo’s medical leave following his tragic accident in April, Ruben not only managed the day-to-day operations but also guided the district through a major garage access upgrade. This project required Ruben to manually upload nearly 1,000 parkers across four different locations — a daunting task he handled with precision and efficiency. Ruben’s impact extended beyond Sycamore. He took on the role of temporary account manager at 301 N. Lake, where he ensured seamless client service and operational consistency. At the same time, he supported the entire Los Angeles region by providing special event support, rate surveys, and filling in during operational team call-offs. What makes Ruben a true Rockstar is not just the volume of responsibilities he’s carried but how seamlessly he delivers results. He manages complex transitions, supports multiple teams, and never loses focus on the client experience. His ability to balance leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration exemplifies the very best of our culture. Ruben has been a steady hand during one of the most challenging periods for our region, and his efforts deserve recognition at the highest level. He is an outstanding candidate for October’s West Coast Rockstar or leader of the Month.
