Victor Banuelos first started with the company in October of 2017 and was rehired back to the company in September of 2023. He was promoted to Supervisor in November of 2024. Since he has been promoted, he has made a positive impact to our culture, service, and client. For example, the culture has improved with valets looking forward to working with him on shift due to his coaching style and bringing everyone together. With his great interactions with the guests, the team feeds off of him which has increased the hotel service levels to pre-pandemic (Top 3 in IHG). With this, the client has walked through and observed Victor coaching valets in different situations for service and service recoveries in which has made an impact on the way the client views him from their perspective. I have received nothing but great feedback from the client. These are the reasons why I feel like Victor is deserving of Rock Star of the Month Award.
