Take Note: Assured Moments

Propark’s paramount operational objective is to keep people safe; our employees, our guests and our clients. That’s why we’ve developed the industry’s highest standard for cleanliness and sanitation, the Certified CleanCo Program. Developed with the most current CDC guidelines and OSHA recommendations, our disinfecting rhythms help to ensure that we are stopping the spread of COVID-19 in and around our workspaces. One of our key cornerstones of the Certified CleanCo Program is clear, effective communication that helps to put our customers’ minds at ease when they park with us. That’s why we leave a note behind in every vehicle, to let the parker know what steps we took to ensure that their car was handled safely and disinfected, immediately prior to the guest taking possession at the conclusion of their stay. That way, there’s no wondering. Just clear information. To implement this program at your valet operation, simply contact us to get started.

Actions in the Field

Propark Mobility realizes that what separates good companies from great companies is the willingness and ability to adapt. As one of the country’s largest privately-owned parking companies, we pride ourselves on being the most nimble parking company, and that ideal was put to the test with the COVID-19 pandemic. Our entire team mobilized for the benefit and safety of our employees, our guests and our clients. We realize that the prevention of transmission and exposure is the cornerstone of ensuring the health and safety of our team and customers.

We have instructed our staff to increase the frequency of cleaning all commonly used surfaces, touchpoints and common areas, including ticket dispensers, intercoms and payment buttons, parking lobby elevator buttons, publicly used handrails, shuttle busses, booths, office areas, restrooms, door handles and more.
  • Employees have been provided with Personal Protective Equipment, including face masks and gloves, hand sanitizer (containing 60 to 95% alcohol), and cleaning equipment including surface disinfectant and virucidal grade wipes and towelettes.

Thank You Healthcare Workers

Propark has a unique look into what our healthcare professionals are dealing with on a daily basis, as we operate parking and transportation services for hospitals across the country.  We can say without any reservations at all, that what our fellow Americans are doing on the front lines, every single day, is nothing short of remarkable.  We are dealing with a global crisis the likes of which has never been seen before, and we would not be able to make it through this without our first responders and healthcare workers.  We know that we will get through this crisis together and we fully embrace doing our part, by practicing the appropriate social distancing, proper hygiene procedures and respiratory etiquette, and by ensuring that our vehicles and facilities are kept at the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.  As we move ahead, we look forward to supporting the efforts by providing non-clinical services through our CleanCo division, and traffic control assistance for COVID-19 testing sites.  We will get through this together.  Be well, stay safe and make sure you are washing your hands often, and practicing social distancing.

Propark has adopted “Stay Clean” as its mantra as the COVID-19 health crisis has unfolded over the last couple of weeks.

The health and safety of our employees and guests is our paramount concern.  During these uncertain times, this simple fact has been at the heart of all of our discussions.  As such, we have taken numerous proactive measures to address the situation at hand, including:

    • We have notified all employees and managers regarding respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene, in order to minimize the risks associated with Coronavirus, and the cold and flu season in general.  We realize that the prevention of transmission and exposure is the cornerstone of ensuring the health and safety of our team and guests.

A letter from our CEO, John Schmid

Dear Parking Family,

I wanted to take a moment to let our partners and guests know that Propark Mobility is, like everyone else, taking great care to protect our team members, guests and clients across the country, with the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation.

We are all in this together.  Propark will continue to do our part to combat COVID-19 in our communities, through our thoughtful action and our compassion for our clients and customers.

To our guests, we realize that you might not need to park as much now, as you did before.  We just want to assure you that when you need Propark, we’ll be here for you.  We started out as a small, family-style company and as we’ve grown, you’ve all become part of our extended parking family.  We’ll be here for you when you need us.  We will again be parking for concerts and events, nights out on the town, and for vacations.  That day will come and we look forward to meeting all of your parking needs in the future.

In the interim, take care of your loved ones, take care of your neighbors and take care of each other.  And make time for an extra game of Monopoly with your family.

As this unprecedented situation continues to unfold, we will keep our communication clear and provide continuous resources for our employees, in an effort to put some level of ease into uncertain times.

Be well.

Sincerely yours,

John Schmid

Chief Executive Officer
